A Weivy Beginning

A brief glimpse into the life I’ve lived. Nomad / Athlete / Musician / Artist / Freelancer / Entrepreneur / US Air Force Veteran
Wei-Sean; born in China, adopted and immediately moved to Los Angeles before growing up in different places around the world. While Track & Field sparked his interest at an early age, he quickly found a passion for music and have become a lifelong student of the arts. He has performed in hard-core metal bands in the Philippines, competed aggressively in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA, a veteran of the US Air Force, and currently works in the tech industry of Silicon Valley while pursuing this musical journey.
After discovering electronic music in 2012 and relocating to San Francisco after the military, it wasn't until 2015 that he found the underground house and techno scene. Wei-Sean quickly picked up the skill of DJ'ing at the end of 2016 at 27yrs old and has since worked with most of SF's favorite local DJ collectives like Admit One, the BrickHouse, Housepitality, Pizza and Techno, and Pinkezup.
With his unique style of mixing and the variety in his song selections, he began playing at various after-hour events, daytime clubs, renegade sound camps and a couple festivals in California. He has already brought in out-of-state talents to play at events and has hosted some of his own Weivy parties to showcase his WEi talented friends. Currently he holds a residency at Halcyon (arguably one of the city's most prominent House and Techno clubs) and is one of the founders of RADient.Life - an event and vibe production.
Depending on the time of the day, his DJ sets may consist of a mixture between House, Techno, Funky and Disco. Each and every set he curates has his audience feeling some type of special Wei.
